Jodhi May
Jodhi May made her debut in Chris Menges’ A World Apart, produced by Working Title for which she received the Cannes Best Actress Award. Jodhi went on to graduate from Wadham College, Oxford with a BA Hons in English Literature.
A constant presence in Film, Theatre and Television, over the past 32 years, she has worked with directors Peter Brook, Michael Mann, Howard Davis, Peter Kosminsky, Stephen Polliakoff, Terence Davies, Tom Hooper, Ed Zwick, Peter Greenaway, Sally Potter, and Steve McQueen.
Most recently Jodhi has written ‘Invisible’ for Jimmy Mc Govern’s BBC drama, ‘Moving On’ which received the RTS Award this year for best continuing series.
She has just directed her first drama for the BBC. ‘Frozen’ for ‘Moving On’ starring, Liz White, (The Crimson Petal and White) Khaled Abdalla, (United 93, Green Zone) and Ruth Sheen, (Mr.Turner, Another Year) which was broadcast in February 2019.
Jodhi has recently directed two episodes of ‘Clink’ a new 10 part drama series for Channel 5, set in a women’s prison in Liverpool, which was broadcast in April 2019.
