Kate Danson
Kate Danson is an actress, producer/director, and photographer working in LA.
In 2017, she joined Triptych Theatre as Co-Artistic Director. With this company, she produced three plays for the 2017-2018 Seasons — Nocturne by Adam Rapp; French Waitress, a series of one acts by John Patrick Shanley, where Kate made her directorial debut on Shanley’s piece, Tennessee; and Stockholm by Byrony Lavery.
Her theatrical acting credits include French Waitress and The Drowning Girls at the Walker Space in NYC. TV and Film: Raising the Bar, CSI, The Dinner Party, The Protector, The Wrights (which she also produced).
In 2019, she directed the fundraising staged reading of Everything I Ever Wanted To Tell My Daughter About Men at The Wallis Annenberg Theater. When she’s not producing theater, she works as a birth and postpartum doula and photographer.
