Marilyn Fox

Marilyn Fox  runs the Pacific Residents Theatre in Los Angeles.

Fox made her screen acting debut in the 1960s with supporting roles in the western comedy The Outlaws Is Coming, the television dramas The Girls of Huntington House and Flight to Holocaust, the music comedy I Wanna Hold Your Hand and Grease (1978).

After a break from television and film, she appeared in the 1990s in the television series Down the Shore, Picket Fences, Cheers, Civil Wars, and Partners. More recent projects include episodes of Family Law and Judging Amy .

Fox has been a member of the Pacific Resident Theatre in Los Angeles, California since 1985 and more recently the artistic director.

Over the years, she won the Golden Boy and Playboy of the Western World Award and directing awards for Ondine in 1993 and The Browning Version in 2010. In 2004, she received the LA Weekly Career Achievement Award. Fox continues to work as director and also appeared in several plays.
